Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems/Network Engineer for our NIH-CIT Proposal. This position will be loced in Rockville, MD and will be a hyrbid role.
Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering optimal availability and quality regarding the network routing and switching, IP security, the wide area network services
Participe in daily stand ups and utilize the kanban methodology to triage and resolve incidents and problems within established SLAs
As directed by senior engineers, participe in shift lead duties to serve as “queue managers” to ensure each escaled issue is efficiently assigned, actively being worked by expediting resolution and fulfillment to meet SLAs
Assist with proactive measures such as network monitoring, analysis, maintenance/pching, and documentionProvide suggestions to management on continuous improvements in regards to communicions, customer understanding, tools, technology, and equipment.
Qualificions: Bachelor’s degree and least 8 years of relevant Network Services experience. CCNA/CCNP is desired. Experience with security is desired.
Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
