Opportunity to work with a variety of business networks We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly skilled IT Field Technician / Systems Administrator who can work independently, troubleshoot complex technical problems, and provide professional onsite and remote support to our clients. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Windows servers, networking, firewalls, and computer troubleshooting. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair Windows 10/11 computers and workstations. Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025. Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows networking. Configure and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls, VPNs, and network connectivity. Support Ubiquiti UniFi networking equipment, switches, and wireless access points. Perform server backups, system recovery, and disaster recovery troubleshooting. Diagnose hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues. Install and configure computers, servers, network equipment, and cabling. Provide onsite technical support at client offices throughout the Bay Area. Document completed work and communicate clearly with clients. Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional IT support or systems administration experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Windows Server. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Experience troubleshooting complex technical problems independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Dependable, trustworthy, organized, and professional. Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel to client locations. Professional references required. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting dental or medical offices. Experience with SonicWall and Ubiquiti UniFi equipment. Knowledge of server virtualization, including VMware or Proxmox. Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
