Work independently while providing excellent customer service Compensation: $50.00 per hour Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Experience Level: Mid-Level INFOTECH Management is seeking a Field Desktop Engineer to provide onsite IT support for business clients throughout DC Metro Area. Responsibilities: Provide onsite desktop and end-user support Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 11 Professional workstations Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and OneDrive Perform workstation deployments, upgrades, and replacements Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues Assist with user account setup and password resets Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches Document work performed and communicate status updates to clients Work independently while providing excellent customer service Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows 11 Professional Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Basic networking knowledge Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in client environments Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift and move computer equipment when necessary Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Experience with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive Experience supporting small and mid-sized business environments CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience Compensation: $50.00 per hour 1099 Independent Contractor position Flexible schedule based on project and client needs Weekly or bi-weekly payment Requirements: Must have your own reliable transportation Must have a laptop and basic IT tools Must complete and submit a W-9 form before starting work Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Service Area: Work will primarily be performed at client locations in DC Metro Area.
