You will be responsible for scanning, sorting, and staging packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your accuracy ensures that local delivery drivers can load their vehicles quickly and hit the road on time. Key Responsibilities Unload Freight: Receive incoming package shipments from linehaul trucks. Scan Inventory: Use handheld RF scanners to check in packages and update tracking systems. Sort Packages: Organize parcels rapidly by zip code, route, and delivery zone. Stage Routing: Place sorted packages into designated bins, pallets, or driver staging areas. Maintain Safety: Keep walkways, loading docks, and sorting zones clean and hazard-free. Physical Requirements: Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Extended Standing: Capability to stand and walk on concrete floors for 4 to 8 hours per shift.
