Overview
Project Manager, HR Integration & Change Management
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate all HR workstreams to integrate ~2,500 people into Gallagher’s GBS (Gallagher Benefit Services) US Division.
This role will ensure HR deliverables are executed seamlessly and aligned with the broader business and cross-division functional integration plan. Key areas include organizational design, role mapping, compensation alignment, learning and development, data management and integrity, and employee engagement throughout the lifecycle of the integration. A critical component is driving change management to foster cultural alignment and win the hearts and minds of transitioning employees.

Key Responsibilities
Integration Planning & Governance
Develop and maintain a master HR integration plan with clear milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee all HR workstreams and ensure their deliverables are integrated into the overall business and cross-division functional integration roadmap.
Establish governance cadence (workstream meetings, SteerCo updates) and maintain dashboards for executive reporting.
HR Workstream Oversight
Organizational Design: Align structures, roles, and reporting relationships.
Compensation: Harmonize pay structures, incentive plans, and job leveling.
Learning & Development: Design onboarding and leadership development programs.
Data Cleanup: Ensure accuracy and consistency of employee data across systems.
Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to foster belonging, trust, and cultural alignment.
Change Management Leadership
Create and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for HR-related integration activities.
Partner with Internal Communications to deliver clear, timely messaging to employees and leaders.
Develop manager toolkits, FAQs, and engagement campaigns to support adoption.
Conduct readiness assessments, pulse surveys, and feedback loops to measure sentiment and adjust plans.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the central point of coordination for HR integration activities.
Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, functional leaders, and acquired company leadership.
Drive decision-making and accountability across matrixed teams.
About You
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or commensurate experience) and 6-7 years of related experience, ideally in HR integration or large-scale organizational change
Project Management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects at the same time, or large projects with multiple work streams
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organization as well as drive impact without direct authority
Subject Matter Expertise in all disciplines within the HR function including a strong understanding of compensation frameworks, org design principles, and L&D strategies
Experience with building and/or managing Human Resources business processes and practices
Proven expertise in change management
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills including experience communicating potentially challenging messages to a global employee population using varied communication vehicles
Advanced proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Teams)
MBA or PMP a plus.
