Room for growth within a growing construction company THIS POSITION IS STRICTLY ON SITE- JOHNSTON, RI LOCATION Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Review plans and prepare estimates for acoustical ceiling projects * Prepare proposals and follow up on outstanding estimates * Meet with customers, contractors, property managers, and potential clients * Visit job sites to review project progress and completion * Coordinate with field employees and installers * Help track job schedules, materials, change orders, and project paperwork * Prepare and follow up on customer invoices * Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable * Follow up on outstanding balances and customer accounts * Maintain organized job files and records * Generate new business and actively search for potential leads * Identify upcoming projects and bidding opportunities * Contact general contractors, developers, property managers, and other potential customers * Follow up on leads and develop new customer relationships * Help maintain communication with existing customers * Keep management informed of the status of projects, estimates, leads, and customer accounts * Assist with various office, field, customer service, estimating, sales, project coordination, and business development duties as needed Qualifications: * Construction experience preferred * Acoustical ceiling, estimating, project coordination, or construction office experience is a plus * Experience reading construction plans is a plus * Sales or business development experience is a plus * Strong communication and customer service skills * Strong organizational and follow-through skills * Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and business software * Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities * Comfortable visiting active construction sites * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, and the ability to learn. Compensation: $55,000–$85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. More experienced candidates with estimating, ceiling industry, project management, or proven business development experience may qualify for higher compensation.
