Phil Mastroianni Corp. is looking for an experienced Plant Purchaser/Project Manager to oversee a wide range of landscape construction projects. A qualified candidate to fill the role of Plant Buyer/Project Manager. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to): - Plant procurement and sourcing: identify, evaluate and select quality plant material for landscape construction projects and maintenance customers; maintain strong relationships with nurseries - Project Management: purchase plant material, coordinate delivery and direct crews for plant layout and installation on landscape construction projects - Project Estimating: work directly with estimator to develop project costs; assist with monitoring purchases - Plant maintenance: source plant material for maintenance clients; purchase seasonal plantings and décor for maintenance clients Required skills - Horticultural knowledge - Ability to read and interpret landscape construction knowledge - Ability to communicate with nurseries, landscape architects and project team - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Organized and detail oriented - Previous experience in the landscape construction industry is preferred Benefits include 401(k) with match, health and dental insurance, PTO and more.
