Role involves quantity surveying, pricing, and bid solicitation Experienced General Heavy Highway Contractor is seeking an Estimator. This position will also be responsible for attending meetings and communicating with the team members for projects as well as developing estimates for change orders as they occur. This candidate should have experience viewing and understanding plans, performing take-offs, and tabulating sub-bids. Duties include quantity surveying, pricing, bid solicitation, working within the estimating system, compiling cost history and preparing systems comparisons. Requirements: *(Preferred) 5 years minimum construction experience. Willing to train the right candidate. *Understand the means and methods of Heavy/ Highway Construction *Working knowledge of FDOT Standards and Specifications *Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Primavera *Excellent written and oral communication skills *(Preferred) BS in Construction of Civil Engineering or related field *Exceptional organizational skills **Salary is negotiable, based on experience** Please send resume.
