Opportunity for long-term growth Texas Title company is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Escrow Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Texas title and escrow procedures and be capable of managing residential and commercial transactions from opening through closing and funding. Responsibilities • Open and manage escrow files from contract receipt through closing • Review contracts, title commitments, surveys, lender instructions, and supporting documents • Communicate professionally with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and underwriters • Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, affidavits, deeds, and other closing documents • Coordinate title clearance and curative requirements • Balance transactions accurately with lenders and all parties • Conduct or coordinate closings • Receive and verify incoming funds • Fund and disburse transactions in accordance with written instructions • Ensure documents are properly executed, recorded, and delivered • Follow company procedures, underwriter requirements, and Texas Department of Insurance regulations • Maintain complete and organized electronic files • Protect confidential customer and financial information • Assist management with resolving file issues and improving office procedures Qualifications • Prior experience as a Texas escrow officer is required • Active Texas escrow officer license is strongly preferred • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial title transactions • Experience preparing closing documents and settlement statements • Ability to balance, fund, and disburse transactions accurately • Experience working with title commitments, lender documents, payoffs, and curative matters • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines independently • Experience with Qualia or similar title production software is preferred • Knowledge of Texas title insurance regulations and underwriter procedures is required Position Details • In-office position • Full-time or contract arrangements may be considered • Compensation will be based on experience, licensing, and qualifications • Professional and supportive work environment • Opportunity for long-term growth with an established Texas title company Qualified applicants should submit a résumé outlining their escrow, title, and closing experience.
