We strive to foster a fun, caring environment for our residents and are looking for someone who is dependable, conscientious, and genuinely cares about people to join us in this pursuit. There can be a lot of variety to this position but primary duties involve setting up resident medications with consistent, accurate documentation, following up on resident concerns, adjust resident care plans as needed, handling scheduling issues, host tours for prospective residents, communicate with families, etc. There is also quite a bit of interaction with our residents and families so good communication skills are a must. As the Weekend Care Supervisor, you may be required to be on-call (reachable by phone) after your shift for one or more of the weekends you work for additional pay. Shifts for this part-time position will primarily be on the weekends and may vary from 3-8 hours depending on circumstances and employee preference. Start times can be flexible but will be in the mornings. You must have relevant experience working in a long-term care facility and handling medications. You will act as a forward-facing member of the care team while on-duty and are expected to act accordingly. The position may occasionally require driving the facility car (not likely, but it’s a possibility) so a California driver license and a clean DMV record may be required. Per State regulations, all employees must pass a criminal background check and physical and TB test prior to starting work.
