Balance Health & Injury Clinic is looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist. We are a multidisciplinary clinic combining Acupuncture and Massage Therapy to bring awesome into the lives of our patients and the community. We are a fast paced, high energy clinic that delivers consistent results by working together as a team, and we have a ton of fun doing it. Our LMTs are booked out at least a couple of weeks right now. This position (for now) is part-time, with the potential for growth if you’re the right person. Right now we are looking to fill the following: Monday from 2 PM - 6 PM Wednesday all day from 9 AM - 12:30 PM and 2 PM - 6 PM Thursday all day from 9 AM - 12:30 PM and 2 PM - 6 PM The ideal candidate will possess the following: At least 1 year of experience A basic understanding of Acupuncture and the benefits it offers The ability to effectively communicate treatments and assessments directly to fellow LMTs and Acupuncturists Deep tissue skills! Cupping skills! The ability to assert and maintain professional boundaries, while remaining personable and friendly A working understanding of Scope of Practice and the ability to stay within it Self-motivation Confidence in your abilities as an LMT A general sense of being awesome and the desire to share your awesomeness with others And now for our biggest requirement: You must possess a sense of humor. Seriously. This position is not for the timid or the faint of heart. The majority of the work we do is medically necessary (aka focused) and is strenuous in many ways. The glue that binds us as a team and keeps us fluid is humor. Pay is dependent on experience and starts at $45/hour with regular opportunities for advancement.
