Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of IT, the Salesforce Administrator will own and optimize the organization’s Salesforce platform—helping staff track, manage, and measure engagement with membership. This role partners across departments to ensure Salesforce is reliable, insightful, and aligned with operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrator for the Salesforce environment
Configure and deploy customizations (fields, objects, workflows, automations)
Build and maintain reports and dashboards for data-driven decision making
Gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver system enhancements
Evaluate business processes and implement Salesforce-based improvements
Manage users, licenses, roles, permissions, and onboarding/training
Troubleshoot system issues and support third-party integrations
Maintain data quality, security, and compliance best practices
Stay current on Salesforce releases and features
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
1+ year of Salesforce administration or similar technical experience
Strong Salesforce configuration, security, workflow, and reporting knowledge
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows & Office 365
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201)
Familiarity with data modeling, APIs, or programming concepts
