Potential for growth within a developing small business Vital Vending — Route & Inventory Associate Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday & Friday Location: Oakland / Bay Area Schedule: Approximately 14 hours per week (More hours available with machine installs if desired and must be approved) **Personal Vehicle Required** Vital Vending is looking for a reliable, organized, self-motivated Route & Inventory Associate to help manage our growing network of modern vending machines throughout the Bay Area. This is a hands-on position that includes receiving deliveries, preparing inventory, restocking and cleaning machines, monitoring product expiration dates, and keeping our inventory organized. There will also be opportunities to help with other parts of the business, including new product launches, machine installations and creating simple social media content. Schedule Monday | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Receive and organize product deliveries Restock all machines Clean and organize machines Report and remove expired items Report low inventory, machine issues or product concerns Wednesday & Friday | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Restock approximately 3 vending machines (currently) Report and remove expired items Report low inventory, machine issues or product concerns Organize warehouse inventory with remaining time This is a growing small business, so no two weeks are exactly the same. Additional projects might include: Taking photos or short videos while restocking Assisting with new vending machine installations Organizing products and supplies Picking up occasional local orders Identifying products that are running low Reporting customer or property feedback Helping improve the organization and efficiency of the route We're looking for someone who is dependable above everything else. The ideal person: Shows up on time and consistently Is comfortable working independently Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Is comfortable driving between Bay Area locations Can lift and transport cases of beverages and products Pays attention to details Keeps products and workspaces organized Is comfortable using apps and a smartphone Communicates quickly when there is a problem Takes pride in keeping machines clean, organized and well stocked Is willing to take initiative rather than waiting to be told every next step Previous route, delivery, stocking, warehouse, retail or logistics experience is a plus. Vital Vending is a locally owned Bay Area vending company bringing elevated convenience to apartments, offices and other premium spaces.
