Join Our Team at Fausto – Pasta Cook (Full-Time) Fausto, a warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant and wine destination in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn, is looking for a passionate Pasta Cook to join our team! Our menu is market-driven, featuring elevated but approachable dishes, with a focus on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and collaborative work environment where your passion for food can truly shine. What We’re Looking For: We’re searching for someone who loves cooking pasta, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering top-quality dishes. If you have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for food and hospitality, you’ll fit right in! About the Role: 4-Day schedule including a brunch & dinner shift on Sundays, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts as needed. You’ll be working one of our two pasta stations, prepping and cooking pasta Opportunity for learning other stations including a wood-fired oven What We Expect: At least 2 years of experience in casual or fine dining (preferred). Ability to multitask under pressure while keeping a positive attitude. Commitment to quality and teamwork. Your Responsibilities: Set up and close down your station following our high standards. Prep pasta and related items for daily service and the weekly prep schedule. Carry out opening/closing duties and assist with other tasks as needed. Stand for extended periods (over 6 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds. Maintain the highest quality in all dishes. What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate $23-$25 per hour.
