Saigon Sisters — Women-Owned. Chef-Driven. Empowering Women in Hospitality.
Saigon Sisters is a proudly women-owned, chef-driven restaurant rooted in authentic Vietnamese cuisine with thoughtful Thai & French influences. Led by Chef Mary, we are committed not only to exceptional food and hospitality, but to elevating and empowering women in the hospitality industry through leadership, mentorship, and opportunity.
We are currently seeking a Lead Line Cook who brings passion, discipline, and pride to the kitchen — someone who believes that consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork are just as important as flavor.
This role is ideal for a cook who respects Southeast Asian traditions, thrives on organization and strong expo leadership, and values a sustainable 40–50-hour workweek with Sundays, Mondays, and most major holidays off.
What We’re Looking For:
*A genuine passion for Vietnamese and Thai cuisine — with respect for balance, heritage, and technique
*Strong, consistent execution on the line with focus and composure under pressure
*Excellent expo skills — ticket flow, timing, communication, and clean, elegant plating
*Highly organized and detail-oriented, especially during peak service
*Extremely clean by nature — sanitation, labeling, rotation, and immaculate stations are non-negotiable
*A team-first attitude rooted in professionalism, humility, and pride in the craft
Responsibilities:
*Execute dishes consistently to Saigon Sisters standards
*Support Chef Mary & Team with prep planning, line leadership, and service execution
*Lead by example and maintain strong, respectful BOH communication
*Uphold exceptional cleanliness and food safety at all times
The Right Fit:
*Reliable, punctual, and drama-free
*Comfortable working 40–60 hours per week
*Values structure, balance, and long-term growth over burnout
*Thrives in a family-owned, women-led restaurant where hospitality and mentorship matter
What We Offer:
*Competitive pay based on experience
*Consistent schedule with Sundays and Mondays off
*Most major holidays off
*A respectful, professional, women-led kitchen culture
*The opportunity to grow alongside a committed chef and ownership team
If you take pride in your craft, believe cleanliness is a professional skill, and want to cook meaningful food in a kitchen that uplifts people as much as plates — we would love to meet you.
