We’re building a kitchen team that takes pride in consistency, speed, and quality from day one. The Role We’re hiring Line Cooks to join our opening back-of-house team. You’ll work various stations (saute, fry, grill, prep) under the Executive Chef, helping deliver a high-quality, consistent menu during a fast-paced service. Responsibilities • Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station(s) for each service • Prepare dishes according to recipes and plating standards • Execute orders accurately and efficiently during service, keeping pace with ticket times • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures • Communicate clearly with the Chef and other line cooks during service • Assist with prep work, inventory, and stocking as needed • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen station • Help train new kitchen staff as the team grows Qualifications • 1+ years of line cook experience in a professional kitchen (seafood or Southern/soul food experience a plus) • NYC Food Protection Certificate (or ability to obtain before start date) • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume service • Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic kitchen equipment • Team-oriented with clear communication skills • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What We Offer • Competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experience • Opportunity to grow with a new restaurant from opening day • Staff meals during shifts • Collaborative, respectful kitchen culture
