Summary: We are seeking a Head of Housekeeping to establish and maintain high cleaning standards across multiple boutique hospitality properties, managing daily operations and contributing to guest satisfaction. We own and operate a handful of properties and try to do right by every guest who stays with us. We're looking for a Head of Housekeeping to own that standard day to day. To start, this role covers two properties in the Savannah area: one downtown and one on Wilmington Island, roughly 15 minutes apart. A third may come online within the next three months. You'll report directly to the founder of the company, who lives locally, is an experienced business professional, and is closely involved in the day-to-day of the properties. What You'll Do - Set and hold the cleaning standard across guest rooms, common areas, and amenity spaces - Own turnovers between stays and keep them efficient without cutting corners - Handle laundry on-site. Washing, drying, folding, and putting away linens is a regular part of this job - Prepare rooms for arrivals with attention to how everything looks and feels - Keep amenities, linens, and supplies stocked, and manage the supply inventory - Catch maintenance issues early, report them clearly, and keep equipment in good shape - Work directly with the founder and the operations side on scheduling and special guest requests - Help train and guide additional housekeeping help as we add properties - Assist with occasional events through the year, such as a celebration or an anniversary - Pitch in on other tasks now and then. We're a small team and everyone helps where needed What We're Looking For The standard is simple: imagine you're taking your family on vacation. That's how clean you want it. Three things get you there: - Reliability. Guests arrive whether or not the day went to plan. We need to know that when you say a property will be ready, it will be - Thoroughness. The details are the job. Under the bed, the corners of the shower, the underside of the table. A room that looks clean and a room that is clean are not the same thing - Communication. Tell us early when something breaks, runs low, or runs late. We would much rather hear about a problem than find it after a guest does - Someone who takes pride in the work and can run the day on their own judgment - A team-first attitude and no egos. Mistakes happen; fixing them quickly is what matters - Previous hotel or rental cleaning experience is a benefit, but not necessary - Someone who wants to grow with an up-and-coming company that already ranks among the top performers Time Commitment Full-time. Actual hours vary with how many rooms need turning over, so weekdays are often lighter than weekends. Within the next year, as we expand, there will be an opportunity to hire and coach additional housekeepers. More properties are planned for 2026 and 2027, and we want the person in this seat to grow with us.
