Position: Cook/Prep Cook Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and following recipes. - Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to recipes or as directed by the chef. - Cleaning, drying, and storing equipment that's used throughout the day (pots, bowls, blender etc.) -Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment. - Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. - Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations. - Assist in receiving and storing deliveries. - Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: - Previous experience as a cook/prep cook or in a similar role preferred. - Basic cooking skills and a willingness to learn and improve. - Ability to work flexible hours, including longer shifts (8-10 hours). - Ability to work under pressure and handle demands in a professional manner. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. - Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. - Common sense and problem-solving skills. - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
