Our non profit organization is doing dynamic things and we need enthusiastic, motivated people to help us bring fun and quality of service to adults with developmental disabilities through our Day Program. This position is unlike any you could imagine! Our employees join our members as they engage with the community, participate in fun activities, discover new experiences and also volunteer to make a difference in this world. Currently we have an open position designed to help manage the day program, ensuring quality service delivery for day program participants while also putting effort towards program expansion. **All serious candidates MUST SUBMIT A RESUME with contact information including a phone number and/or email. All potential employees must be able to pass a drug test and background check.** Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Example of duties: 1. Help open the day program (drop offs begin at 9am). 2. Field phone calls/emails. 3. Research/plan future activities. 4. Partner with staff in coordinating transportation as needed. 5. Transport individuals to/from activities in Day Program van. 6. Partner with day program staff to facilitate the day to day activities or volunteer work. 7. Engage with the clients in fun activities (games, crafts, coloring etc.) during the am/pm times when not out in the community. 8. Address any emergencies appropriately and complete incident reports when needed. 9. Complete ongoing documentation (attendance sheets, tracking forms for goals, contact notes). 10.
