YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR COCKTAILS! This is NOT a beginner bartending position, Must be able to work different days of the week (More So Sundays, Tuesdays and maybe more). We are open 7-days a week with 2 different shifts. Shifts: Days 3pm-9:30pm and Nights 9:30pm - 2am. This is a cocktail bar, I am NOT looking for a food server or a waitress. You will be making mixed drinks and pouring beer please be experienced. Must be able to follow instructions. BARTENDER JOB SUMMARY The bartender is responsible for maintaining the bar area and filling drink orders for restaurant and bar patrons. This position must have extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, beer, and wine. Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and monitoring patrons for signs that they have had too much alcohol are also skills required to do this position well. Providing top-notch customer service while maintaining control of the bar, serving drinks and managing the financials require attention to detail and extreme focus. Make sure everyone has drinks and stay off your phone. At the end of each shift, the bartender will cash-out the cash drawer, making sure it balances with the POS system and note any discrepancies.
