We have been in business since the day prohibition ended in 1933, serving the greater Boston area with locations in Waltham, Woburn and Natick. We are currently looking to expand permanent part time help as well as seasonal holiday help at all locations Our stores are: 850 Lexington St Waltham 485 Main St Woburn 4 South Ave Natick As a Sales Associate, you will: Stock front-end areas, including registers, shelving, coolers, and freezers, while rotating items in accordance with the FIFO system. Check out customers efficiently and accurately, adhering to proper cash-out procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and effectively while modeling suggestive selling techniques. Assist in managing customer flow and reducing wait times by addressing backed-up lines. Answer phones courteously and promptly. Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned. Assist with training new Cashiers/Stockers as needed. Arrive at the workstation on time, appropriately dressed, and ready to work; fulfill all scheduled shifts. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly. Standing/Walking and going up and down stairs throughout shift. Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to 34-40 °F walk-in cooler. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, conveyor belts, and hand trucks. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Experience in retail sales and cash handling Proficient in basic math and retail math Ability to operate a cash register and POS systems Knowledge of stocking and merchandising techniques
