About the role
As a Robot Operator, you will produce critical data that goes into our models. You will pilot a robot, and operate it in order to collect vital data. You'll work hands-on with our robot fleet every day, guiding robots through real-world manipulation tasks and holding a high bar for the precision and consistency of every recording. The work is repetitive by design, because each subsequent episode delivers additional value.
In particular, your responsibilities will include:
Teleoperating robots through a broad range of manipulation tasks for a continuous period of time
Consistently hitting daily targets for both the volume and the quality of recorded demonstrations
Feeding structured feedback back to the research and hardware teams to improve our operations
This role operates in two shifts (M-F):
Morning: 7:00am - 3:00pm PST
Evening: 3:00pm - 11:00pm PST
Compensation ranges from $25 - $30/hr.
You may be a good fit if you
Have a track record of careful, hands-on work
Genuinely enjoy detail-heavy, repetitive work and take pride in doing it consistently
Have strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Are excited about robotics and AI and want to contribute directly to frontier research
Bring reliability, a collaborative attitude, and a strong work ethic — no prior robotics experience required
