Join a collaborative team dedicated to inspiring the next generation Job Overview Maker Studio Kidz is seeking a passionate, organized, and proactive Education Programs & Operations Coordinator to help lead the daily operations of our educational programs. This role combines teaching, operations, and leadership to ensure our camps, after-school programs, workshops, and school partnerships deliver exceptional experiences for students, families, and educators. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves creating organized systems that help teams succeed. Responsibilities - Coordinate the day-to-day operations of camps, after-school programs, workshops, and educational events. - Teach select classes, camps, and enrichment programs while modeling high-quality instruction and classroom management. - Prepare classrooms, materials, and supplies to ensure programs run smoothly. - Support the onboarding, training, coaching, and supervision of teaching artists and educators. - Manage studio organization, inventory, and educational materials. - Visit school and community partner sites to provide operational support and maintain program quality. - Troubleshoot day-of operational needs and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment. - Communicate with families, school partners, and staff to support positive program experiences. - Participate in program planning, weekly operations meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and operational records. Requirements - Experience working with children in educational, enrichment, camp, or after-school settings. - Strong classroom management and leadership skills. - Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Experience supervising, mentoring, or training staff is preferred. - Experience with arts, STEAM, maker education, or creative programming is a plus. - Proficiency with Google Workspace, Notion, and slack. - Reliable transportation to travel between program sites throughout the Bay Area. - Ability to lift and transport educational materials and assist with classroom and event setup.
