Knowledge Products and drafting
Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally including grant or contract administration in a foundation, non-profit, multilateral, or international development setting.
Strong writing skills — able to produce clear, well-structured first drafts from scratch, synthesize complex source material, and adapt register across audiences. Writing samples will be requested.
Experience supporting senior colleagues across multiple concurrent workstreams: comfortable taking direction, and equally comfortable spotting and raising gaps unprompted.
Demonstrated accuracy in managing agreements, budgets, deliverables, and reporting deadlines, and the documentation discipline to capture decisions and their rationale in shared systems that other people can actually use.
Research skills and the judgment to recognize and flag when a figure or claim cannot be substantiated.
Comfort in working in a multi-cultural, internationally distributed and rapidly changing environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
Discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Experience supporting international, multi-stakeholder convenings and events, including logistics and materials production.
Experience working alongside specialist functions — communications, legal, finance, or grants management — as a program counterpart rather than performing those functions directly.
Experience supporting senior-level relationship management: preparing briefing material, maintaining engagement records, and driving follow-through on commitments.
Exposure to food security, nutrition, humanitarian response, climate adaptation, or data and information systems. Subject-matter depth is welcome but not required; curiosity and willingness to learn the field quickly matter more.
Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.
Additional language skills, which are valued across the program’s country footprint.
