Job description: The Real Estate Development Associate is an important, hands-on role responsible for site research and selection, market analysis, professional communication with owners and brokers, and supporting the sales process for new and existing commercial and residential development projects. Responsibilities: * Develop and distribute sales presentations tailored for commercial and residential real estate executives, highlighting opportunities with prospective buyers and developers for bringing their brands and developments to company‑owned commercial and residential properties * Conduct research and prepare reports for county and city/town infrastructure, regulations, zoning requirements and development guidelines * Evaluate residential, commercial, retail, medical office, and office development and land opportunities, and prepare presentations/proposals, to put national and regional brands and retailers on commercial and residential real estate properties for sale, by placing their own free standing building at proposed location * Create, practical review and finalize related emails, correspondence and forms including proposals, LOIs, contracts, etc. * Perform financial analysis for prospective projects, including building pro-forma and financial models for assessment * Research land parcels, zoning, utilities and understanding of engineering layouts * Research and analyze market demographics, competitive landscapes, and comparable properties Qualifications: * Proficient in Microsoft Office (with advanced skills in Word and Excel) Adobe applications, and Photoshop, with a typing speed of 60+ wpm * Technology savvy with usual office software, programs and hardware, as well as the ability to learn new software programs quickly and troubleshoot common technical issues * Strong administrative skills when proofreading and editing emails and documents; must be organized and skillful with electronic and paper filing systems * Discretion required in handling highly confidential information in a sensitive manner * Excellent research, problem solving, oral and written communication skills for use with a wide variety of individuals * Required: Two (2) years’ experience in real estate(commercial and residential real estate development preferred), sales development, land engineering, property management or related fields; familiarity with real estate contracts; ability to find and build rapport with clients Compensation: $70,000+ (based on experience) Job Type: Full-time, In person Principals only.
