Opportunity to multitask in a busy office environment Ambu-Trans, an established medical transportation company serving New York City for 25 years, is seeking a dependable and well-organized Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative for our Mount Vernon office. COMPENSATION *$20–$23 per hour, based on experience and overtime paid at time-and-a- half. * Full-time, year-round position * Paid vacation, personal days and health insurance available. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Handle incoming telephone inquiries from patients, medical facilities and other customers * Assist with transportation billing and trip attesting * Maintain files and organize office records * Assist with general administrative and office duties * Communicate with drivers, facilities and office staff as needed * Handle multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day QUALIFICATIONS: * Professional and courteous telephone manner * Well organized and detail oriented * Able to multitask in a busy office environment * Dependable and punctual * Comfortable working with computers and learning transportation/billing systems; knowledge of dispatch systems is a plus. * Prior medical transportation, healthcare, dispatch or office experience is a plus, but not required *Bilingual - English/ Spanish is strongly preferred Call or Text: (914) -760-1255 or send us an email.
