Previous super retired after 30 years of service. This is a live-in “working super” role. There are 70 units in the building. The position comes with a one bedroom apt. No dogs are permitted in our building. We are looking for someone who will feel this is their home and take care of our building accordingly. Our owners feel our Superintendent is part of our community not just an employee. Job description: Daily trash and recycling management (heavy lifting required) Cleaning and maintaining common areas Basic repairs: plumbing (snaking drains, fixing leaks), light electrical, drywall/painting Light landscaping Snow removal and sidewalk salting in winter Handling tenant issues, lockouts, and emergencies Experience preferred in the following: Building maintenance, construction, handyman work Reliable and responsive Creative problem-solving skills Must be available for emergencies Salary based on experience
