Engage in varied assignments based on property activity Bexley Capital is seeking one dependable local contractor to support residential properties in Cedar Rapids. This is an in-person, part-time role involving scheduled property showings, unit condition checks, move-in and move-out support, key handoffs and coordination with approved maintenance vendors. We anticipate approximately 15-25 hours of work per week initially, although the volume and timing of assignments may vary based on leasing and property activity. Some evening or weekend availability may occasionally be needed for showings. Responsibilities - Conduct scheduled tours of available apartments and homes - Arrive before showings to confirm that the property is accessible and presentable - Communicate basic property information professionally to prospective residents - Record showing outcomes and prospect feedback - Complete move-in, move-out and general property condition checks - Take clear, organized photographs and videos - Handle key or access-code handoffs when assigned - Provide access to approved vendors and document completed work - Promptly report maintenance, safety or turnover issues - Submit a concise update after each assignment Requirements - Based in or near Cedar Rapids or Iowa City - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Dependable, punctual and responsive - Comfortable entering vacant and occupied residential properties - Able to communicate professionally with prospects, residents and vendors - Comfortable using a smartphone for photographs, messaging, email and online forms - Able to work independently and follow assignment instructions - Available for occasional evening or weekend assignments Previous experience in leasing, apartment management, real estate, hospitality, facilities coordination, inspections or customer service is helpful but not required.
