We take pride in our communities and our people, and we're currently looking for a full-time Property Manager to join one of our established communities in University Place, WA. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Summary The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the apartment community, including leasing, resident relations, staff supervision, maintenance oversight, occupancy goals, and financial performance. This role works closely with on-site staff to ensure a positive living experience for residents while meeting ownership and company objectives. Property Manager General Duties & Responsibilities • Oversee the daily operations of the apartment community • Hire, train, motivate, and support on-site team members • Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and close leases • Maintain guest cards, prospect records, and marketing information • Process rental applications, including income, credit, and residency verifications • Walk vacant units to ensure they are rent-ready • Perform unit inspections for maintenance concerns and skip checks • Manage lease renewals and resident retention efforts • Assist with rent collection and processing of legal notices when necessary • Monitor occupancy, revenue, and property budgets • Coordinate with maintenance staff to maintain company standards and resident satisfaction • Conduct market surveys and stay informed on local rental market trends • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and all company policies • Complete administrative duties including deposits, accounts payable, month-end reporting, and resident files • Complete additional tasks as needed to support successful property operations Required Qualifications Education and/or Experience • Previous Property Manager experience is required • Experienced Assistant Managers of 200+ unit communities will be considered • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills • Ability to multitask and handle difficult situations professionally • Experience with Microsoft Office and internet-based systems • Yardi and/or On-Site experience preferred • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required • Ability to travel between assigned properties and sister communities as needed • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Ability to work occasional weekends or holidays when needed • Professional appearance and strong customer service skills • Excellent attendance and punctuality • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred Featured Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off, and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
