Residential building seeking a reliable Part-Time Porter for cleaning and general building upkeep. Schedule: 20 hours/week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Duties • Clean lobby, hallways, stairs, elevators and community room • Sweep, vacuum, mop and disinfect surfaces • Clean windows, glass, ledges and common-area bathrooms • Maintain exterior, flowerbeds and curb area • Empty and clean refuse rooms and garbage cans • Maintain compactor room and operate/empty compactor • Remove garbage, recycling and bulk items • Put out garbage/recycling on scheduled collection days • Clean up exterior after DSNY collection • Weekly carpet cleaning and other cleaning as needed Requirements: Reliable, punctual, able to work independently and perform physical cleaning duties.
