One of Long Island's Largest Cleaning Companies is aggressively seeking a Janitorial Area Supervisor who is a highly organized and also a detail-oriented person. This person must have at least (3) years of Janitorial Experience and detailed knowledge of scheduling and supervising employees and inspecting buildings. Your main responsibility will be doing Daily inspections of those buildings that you are assigned to and managing the crews assigned to the properties. Familiarity with union labor would be beneficial as well as prior experience with doing payroll. Managers will be CLIENT FACING and must have a customer service mentality, as you will be front facing this client. This is a FULL - TIME position Monday – Friday, seeking (1) Day Shift Supervisor and (1) Second Shift Supervisor Knowledge of the Janitorial Industry and the ability to Recruit Talent is a MUST! Must have reliable transportation. QUALIFICATIONS: · Candidate must have prior Janitorial Supervisor experience. · Computer skills are a must. · Very detail oriented and follows tasks and projects through to completion. · Must know how to use Microsoft Excel and Word. · Must speak both English and Spanish – This is a requirement and non-negotiable. · Must be a go-getter! · Must be a Team Player!
