About the Role
We’re hiring a full-time Leasing Agent to support day-to-day operations and leasing for two properties in Buffalo. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, resident-focused, and confident working in compliance-driven affordable housing.
Key Responsibilities
Property leasing, tours, follow-up, applications, move-ins/move-outs, renewals
Assist with property management operations: resident relations, notices, rule enforcement, service request coordination, and vendor communication
Rent collection support: posting payments, tracking delinquencies, assisting with payment plans and collections processes
Maintain accurate records and reports (occupancy, traffic, renewals, compliance deadlines)
Work closely with maintenance to coordinate unit turns and readiness
Provide excellent customer service and represent the properties professionally
Required Qualifications
2+ years in leasing and/or property management (affordable housing preferred)
Strong organization and attention to detail (compliance accuracy is critical)
Professional communication skills—written and verbal
Basic proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage/OneSite, AppFolio, Rent Manager, etc.) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Reliable transportation for local travel between two Buffalo properties
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional affordable programs (LIHTC, Section 8, HOME, HCR, etc.)
Fair Housing knowledge and strong resident conflict-resolution skills
Prior assistant property manager responsibilities (work orders, vendors, reporting)
