Facilities Director

Facilities Director Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 5 years of experience as a building maintenance mechanic
Demonstrated understanding of electrical circuits, plumbing systems, and HVAC
Knowledge of maintenance department organization and planning
Able to perform physically demanding work (pushing/pulling 50–100 lbs., crouching, kneeling, ladder work)
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to work Monday–Friday days, with select evenings on call and occasional weekends as needed
Facilities Director Preferred Background & Skills
Experience supervising, hiring, and training personnel
Familiarity with managing IT systems, including POS, internet, servers, phones, and cable
Facilities Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Oversee daily maintenance and upkeep of club facilities, including the clubhouse, fitness center, pool, tennis courts, restrooms, golf teaching center, kiosk, and event pavilion
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment, identifying and solving emergent issues
Manage opening, closing, and daily operation of pool facilities, including chemical maintenance and regulatory compliance
Plan and implement select capital projects, securing bids, coordinating vendors, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Perform hands-on tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and janitorial work as needed
Oversee technology infrastructure across all facilities (Liason for IT Vendor)
