Position Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Real Estate Business Development Representative to help grow our building maintenance and property services business.
The primary responsibility is to develop relationships with property owners, real estate investors, property managers, landlords, HOAs, brokers, and commercial property operators and generate new maintenance and property-service contracts.
This opportunity is designed for an individual who wants more than a traditional sales position. A successful representative may have the opportunity to earn an ownership interest in the business based on business development, revenue generation, performance, and mutually agreed-upon milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new real estate and property-maintenance opportunities.
Build relationships with property owners, investors, landlords, property managers, and real estate professionals.
Generate leads for building maintenance, repairs, renovations, and recurring service contracts. Prospect commercial buildings, Mult-site properties, industrial facilities retail stores and investment properties. Schedule property inspections and client meetings.
Help develop proposals, estimates, and service agreements.
Negotiate and assist in closing new accounts. Develop recurring maintenance contracts and long-term client relationships. Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients and properties.
Identify additional service opportunities within existing accounts.
Help develop strategic relationships with real estate companies, brokers, contractors, and property-management firms. Work with the operations team to ensure new clients are successfully transitioned into service. Help establish systems and processes for expanding the company's real estate client base.
Business Development Focus
The representative will focus on generating opportunities for services such as:
Building maintenance
Preventive maintenance
Commercial property maintenance
Common-area maintenance
Property inspections
Repairs and handyman services
Painting and drywall
Flooring
Landscaping and exterior maintenance
Pressure washing
Janitorial services
Emergency maintenance

Compensation & Ownership Opportunity
This is a performance-based business development opportunity.
Compensation may include:
Commission on new business generated
Commission on completed/collected contracts. Recurring commissions from qualifying maintenance agreements
Performance bonuses. Increased compensation based on production and account growth. Potential ownership/equity opportunity based on agreed-upon performance milestones
Ownership is not automatic and would be subject to a separate written agreement establishing eligibility, percentage or units, vesting requirements, performance requirements, and other applicable terms.
