SRM Associates is a boutique real estate development and property management company based in Berkeley, California, focused on commercial properties. We manage a diverse portfolio and are looking for an experienced, dependable Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operation of our properties.
This is a hands-on position with a mix of property operations, tenant communication, vendor coordination, maintenance, and administrative responsibilities. The role would suit someone who is organized, practical, and comfortable taking responsibility for making sure things get done properly and on time.

Qualifications

*High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in property management, business, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
*Support the day-to-day operation of the properties, including coordination with janitorial, day porter, security, engineering, and parking personnel.
*Coordinate tenant improvement projects and capital improvement work from planning through completion.
*Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs.
*Maintain schedules for required inspections, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
*Respond to tenant requests and coordinate appropriate follow-up and resolution.
*Maintain current certificates of insurance for tenants and contractors.
*Assist with vendor coordination, contract administration, invoices, and project tracking.
*Maintain property records and documentation.
*Provide operational reports and other information to ownership as needed.
*Assist with special projects and improvements to property management processes.
