This position works directly with our salespeople, customers, distributors and accounting department to make sure customer orders are entered correctly, purchased, tracked, shipped and ultimately invoiced. We sell computer hardware, servers, networking equipment, software, cloud services and other technology products to commercial and government customers. Responsibilities - Enter and process customer **Sales Orders** - Review and process customer **Purchase Orders (POs)** - Verify pricing, quantities, part numbers, customer information and shipping instructions - Work closely with sales representatives to make sure orders are complete and accurate - Place and track orders with major technology distributors and manufacturers - Work with distributors such as D&H, Ingram Micro and TD SYNNEX - Track shipments, backorders and expected delivery dates - Communicate order status to salespeople and customers - Follow up on missing POs and incomplete customer documentation - Handle order changes, cancellations, returns and discrepancies - Help resolve pricing, shipping and billing issues - Maintain accurate order records and supporting documentation - Coordinate with accounting so completed orders can be invoiced promptly - Help make sure customer orders don't fall through the cracks What We're Looking For We need someone who is **organized, accurate and dependable** and who enjoys keeping things moving. The right person should be comfortable handling many orders and requests at the same time while paying close attention to details. Experience with some of the following is preferred: - Sales order processing - Purchase orders - Computer or technology products - Distribution or purchasing - Customer service - Accounting or ERP systems - QuickBooks - Microsoft Excel and Outlook - Working with sales representatives - Working with vendors and distributors Experience in the **computer/IT industry** is particularly helpful because our orders can include servers, computers, networking equipment, software, warranties and cloud services.
