This role will work alongside our existing accounting staff and report directly to ownership. This is a hands-on role—ideal for someone who is retired and looking for "part time" work (10 to 25 hours per month). Key Responsibilities - Oversee and review monthly financials for accuracy and completeness - Ensure proper job costing and WIP (Work-in-Progress) tracking - Monitor margins, profitability by job, and cost controls - Establish and improve internal controls (including QuickBooks user permissions) - Supervise and support existing accounting personnel - Manage and improve the month-end close process - Provide cash flow visibility and forecasting - Assist with budgeting and financial planning - Coordinate with CPA for tax preparation and year-end reporting
