Focus on job costing and project expense tracking Intensive Drilling is looking for an experienced, dependable Bookkeeper to join our team. We are a established and growing construction company specializing in horizontal directional drilling, underground utility construction, traffic control, and hard-surface restoration. This position will start part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the position and workload grow. Responsibilities may include: Accounts payable and accounts receivable QuickBooks bookkeeping and account reconciliation Tracking company expenses and receipts Customer invoicing and payment tracking Payroll-related recordkeeping Job costing and project expense tracking Reviewing vendor and subcontractor invoices Maintaining organized financial records W-9s, subcontractor documentation, and 1099 tracking Assisting with monthly financial reports and reconciliation Working with management to better track job profitability and company expenses We are looking for someone who: Has previous bookkeeping experience Is highly organized and detail-oriented Is comfortable working independently Has experience with QuickBooks Understands accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations Can handle confidential company financial information professionally Has strong communication and follow-through Construction bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred. Experience with underground utilities, telecommunications, directional drilling, or subcontractor-based construction is a major plus. Schedule: Part-time to start, with the opportunity to transition to full-time. Compensation: Based on experience.
