Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to manage job costing, invoicing, AR, and support accounting functions within a fast-paced construction environment. Highlights: 1. Manage job cost accounting and invoicing for projects 2. Oversee accounts receivable and collections 3. Utilize accounting software for reporting and analysis Project Accountant Job Description • Maintain jobcost in Sampro data base accounting software • Open new projects with input from PMs • Responsible for invoicing all projects on monthly basis • Responsible for invoicing service projects on WO basis • Work with PMs to generate accurate jobcost reports • Manipulate jobcost reports in Data Analytics to report cost data • Maintain up to date aging report for company • AR management and collections • Manage job files • Assist with payroll input and posting • Assist with AP when necessary • Issue work order numbers for emergency repairs Required Skills/Experience • Bachelors in Accounting degree or equivalent experience (CPA not required) • Excellent computer skills XL specifically • Previous construction accounting experience and working knowledge of the construction industry (AP/AR, CPR) • Experience in accounting software (Sampro preferred) • Ability to work in fast paced environment • Good customer and communication skills • 5+ years of experience preferred
