This is a strong running car that shows its age. Could use a little TLC, and with that, it could last another 100k. Xterras are the kind of SUV that can last to 300k with the right care, and I have been fully planning on keeping it until then. My wife and I needed something a little newer for the growing family, so this bad boy has got to go. This is a 4.0 V6 SE 4X4. Here's what I love about this SUV: - Reliable daily driver - 4WD works really well - New transmission done by pros (this was to avoid the common transmission/coolant issue with this year of X - search SMOD on reddit and you'll know what I mean) - Transmission fluid in the last 5k miles - Rear diferential drain-and-fill in the last 5k miles - Regular oil changes throughout the life of the car - WeatherTech mat in the back - Clean interior (old, but clean - no smoking) - Fresh RainX on the windows Some things to consider: - Check engine light is on. I've checked this code (and cleared it a handful of times) and it does not affect drivability at all. P0430 is a catalytic converter bank 2 code that says the exhaust is not being double burned properly. This does not affect the engine. - The brake pads need to be changed After changing the brake pads, I would not hesitate to take this thing on a cross country road trip. The engine is strong, the transmission is in great shape, and it is a comfortable ride. I have been taking care of this like I was going to keep it for many more years. I'm selling it a bit unexpectedly which it why there are a few things unattended to. Use the email associated with this listing and I'll get back to you asap.
