For sale is a 2002 Nissan XTerra. Right now it’s sitting at 185K miles and will climb as I continue to drive it. I’ve had it for the past 4 years and it has been a solid daily driver. It’s made multiple trips to Indiana and Tennessee and back, and has been a reliable camping rig loaded with gear and a canoe on the top. A/C blows ice cold, and the truck has a new July 2026 state inspection. It also has a clean Virginia title in my name. It’s neat, but it definitely shows its age in some spots from being a used 4x4. Some things I’ve had worked on or replaced. - New muffler and exhaust - New rear sway bar - New starter - New alternator - New clutch slave cylinder - New radiator - Timing belt was replaced at 177,000 miles (See photo for the work) Some things to know: - ABS light comes on, I believe the sensors need to be cleaned. - Throws a CEL PO328 code common with the knock sensor issue 1st Gen XTerras. It’s never been an issue, it just comes on and off from time to time. If you want, I will provide another knock sensor for sensor relocation fix. This truck is no race car, but it’s no slouch either. It’s handled snow and ice and trails with little effort, and has been great, comfortable little truck. The underside is really clean for its age and has little rust. The gas mileage isn’t great, but it is a future legacy manual 4x4. This is a great truck for those who want a hunt truck or a camping rig, or just want something to row the gears. It also has a tow hitch and ball, as the previous owner used it to tow motorcycle trailers. While FJ and 4Runner prices have become astronomical, this is a great alternative for those wanting an affordable Japanese 4x4. $3250 OBO, cash only, as is. Will also trade for an older Chevy Suburban. Local pickup, or will drive a 30 mile radius from Richmond for a fee additional to the price of the vehicle. “Is this still available?” messages will be ignored. If you’re interested- let’s talk.
