The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently during their assigned shift. This role supports the Raw Material (RM) and Finished Goods (FG) Managers by coordinating material handling, supervising team members, and ensuring that production schedules are met. The Shift Leader is also responsible for maintaining quality control, enforcing safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment. Support RM and FG Managers by coordinating raw material handling and finished goods processes during the shift. Monitor and manage the flow of materials and products, ensuring that production schedules are met without interruptions. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Excel to track inventory movements and production progress. Ensure that all equipment and machinery are functioning correctly and report any issues to the maintenance team immediately. Assist in adjusting operational plans to accommodate changes in production needs or order volumes.   2.      Team Supervision and Development: Lead and supervise a team of production and warehouse staff during the shift, ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy. Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members, ensuring they understand and follow standard operating procedures. Monitor team performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain efficiency. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication among staff.   3.      Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that all raw materials and finished goods meet the required quality standards before they are used in production or shipped to customers. Enforce safety standards and policies, ensuring that all team members follow proper procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular inspections of the production area to ensure compliance with health regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of safety checks, quality inspections, and any incidents that occur during the shift.   4.      Communication and Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between the production floor and RM/FG Managers during the shift. Communicate shift performance, issues, and any deviations from the production plan to the RM/FG Managers and other relevant stakeholders. Coordinate with other shift leaders to ensure a smooth transition between shifts and continuity of operations. Provide updates on inventory levels, production status, and any potential bottlenecks that could impact the overall production schedule   5.      Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shift activities, including production output, material usage, and any issues encountered. Compile and present shift reports to RM/FG Managers, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement. Assist in developing and implementing data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of shift-related data. Create and maintain dashboards to track shift performance metrics, providing insights to help optimize future operations. Requirements High school diploma with extensive experience or higher degree required 5+ years of experience in a production or warehouse environment, with a focus on team leadership or supervisory roles Relevant industry knowledge, particularly in material handling, production, and inventory management Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word) and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP Ability to adapt to changing priorities and make quick decisions to ensure operational continuity Korean Bilingual preferred Ability to Travel: up to 10 % in U.S. Required to work on-site: 300 Nexus Dr., Dalton, GA 30721 (Onsite) Working Hour: 8 PM ~ 8 AM Night Shift (20:00 ~ 08:00, 2 days of work and 2 days off. Full-time opening for a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Billerica MA. 7:00am-3:30pm Pay is $26/hr Participates in a variety of activities that include packaging, labeling, declaring shipments of dangerous goods and non-DG shipments in compliance with current DOT/IATA regulations. Receiving, storing, delivering, loading and unloading materials, equipment and other lab supplies to end users while adhering to all safety standards.
