Boulevard Park Friends of the Library (Boulevard Park)

The Boulevard Park Friends of the Library are looking for folks to serve on the Board. Multiple positions open. We rely on volunteers to operate and our members help fund our cause. Through ongoing book sale proceeds, membership dues and donations, Boulevard Park Friends raises money for activities, programs and items that are not funded by the regular library budget (arts and crafts supplies, special events, etc.). We also represent the library at community events and encourage community interest and participation in the library. Volunteer opportunities include tabling at the library to engage with community members, sorting our used books for sale, and serving on our board. Serving on the board is a great addition to any resume. It is a low pressure, low time commitment. You can expect to spend between 5-10 hours each month depending on your interest.
