Requirements The ideal candidate has to love working with young children and be passionate about their development. Flexibility is preferred as the classes will take place during the day, as part of after school programs and possibly on weekends. Classes will be held at schools, recreation centers and parks so a reliable form of transportation is required. New coaches will typically work from 5 to 25 classes a week (depending on availability, performance and preference) and each class runs from 30 to 60 minutes. Benefits Coaches earn from $25/hr to $45/hr based on skill and experience. Paid on-the-job training. Referral program for each coach recommended that is hired. At Amazing Athletes we specialize in providing fun and educational sports programs for children ages 18 months through 12 years old. Our largest clientele are working with children 6 years old and younger. As a coach, you will have the opportunity to teach children the fundamentals of various sports. As an afternoon youth coach, your responsibilities will include: Leading and instructing sports classes for children in daycares, preschools and/or afterschool programs Creating a positive and engaging environment for all children to learn and play Teaching children the asica skills and rules of different sports Encouraging participation and teamwork among the children Maintaining order and ensuring the safety of all children participating This is a part-time position with flexibility and room for company growth. We offer paid training and provide all the necessary materials for you to teach a successful class. Requirements Must be available between the hours of 2:30 and 4:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Candidates should reside within 1-hour of a major international airport Requirements What We’re Looking For BCBA - Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 3-5+ years of experience in training, consulting, or working with individuals who exhibit challenging or dangerous behavior. Experience in autism/DD, psychiatric settings, brain injury rehabilitation, or similar human service environments. Strong background in handling high-intensity behavioral challenges, including the use of physical management procedures. Comfortable with extensive travel (30 weeks per year, including occasional weekends). Ability to physically demonstrate behavioral safety techniques, including standing/kneeling for extended periods. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Tech-savvy – proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with virtual collaboration tools.
