1948 1.5 Ton Chevrolet Thriftmaster - $8,950 (Lebanon, OR)

1948 Chevrolet Thriftmaster 1.5 Ton with hydraulic dump bed. This truck has only had three owners. I bought it from a family that had owned it for over 40 years. The dump bed was placed on the new chassis and manufactured by Schetky Equipment (school bus manufacturer) in Portland. The truck was assembled in Oakland, it has 161" wheelbase and the 235 ci gas motor with oil bath air cleaner. I have owned this for the past year and during that time I have replaced: Master cylinder, front brake cylinders, rebuilt rear brake cylinders, new battery, new carburetor, cleaned and sealed fuel tank, new electric fuel pump, new coil and new points, new rotor, new pressure treated wood in bed of truck, replaced glass window, new headliner, new door panels, new seat covers. It starts right up and is drivable.
