Qualis LLC is seeking a Golden Dome for America Fire Control SME to provide expert-level support to advanced weapon system programs with an emphasis on joint fire control operations, space integration, and target engagement systems. This role requires deep technical knowledge of command and control (C2) systems, intelligence operations, targeting, and fire delivery architectures across air, land, space, and cyber domains. Essential Duties: Provides expert analysis and operational insight into joint fire control systems, including targeting, engagement coordination, and fire support deconfliction. Applies acquisition and operational expertise in support of programs under Space Systems Command (SSC), SMDC, or similar organizations. Leverages technical understanding of space-based and terrestrial sensor systems to enhance kill chain effectiveness—from target detection and ID to tracking and engagement. Supports integration of fire delivery platforms such as THAAD, Patriot, Aegis, ALCMs, Directed Energy Weapons, and emerging space-based interceptors. Collaborates with ISR and intelligence professionals to ensure precision targeting and real-time coordination of battle damage assessment and kill chain operations. Advises on C2 architectures such as C2BMC, providing insight on interoperability, latency, and decision timelines. Contributes to rules of engagement (ROE) development, fratricide avoidance procedures, and system-level integration of targeting capabilities into fire control loops. Supports modeling and simulation, wargaming, and system performance assessments to evaluate end-to-end fire control architectures and mission effectiveness. Requirements Required Qualifications: Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. 15+ years of experience in defense fire control, C2 systems, joint targeting, and/or space-integrated weapon systems. Extensive background in intelligence operations, ISR systems, and kill chain integration. Deep understanding of joint engagement processes including target acquisition, sensor fusion, threat tracking, engagement authority, and kill assessment. Strong working knowledge of advanced weapons systems and fire control platforms across services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force). Prior experience in acquisition or requirements development roles within SSC HQ, SMDC, MDA, or similar DoD agencies. Demonstrated success working in multi-agency, joint, or coalition environments supporting combatant commands or operational planning teams.   Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Management, Operations Research, or related field. Experience supporting C2BMC, GMD, IBCS, or other integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) systems. Familiarity with Joint Targeting Doctrine, ROE application, and integration of space-based effects into joint fires. Prior military experience in fire control, C2, or targeting roles highly desirable.
