Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. This role will be instrumental in leading a group of production employees in achieving production goals, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment. The Manufacturing Supervisor will serve as a key link between production teams and upper management. Responsibilities Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet fluctuating demands. Lead, train, and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and competency enhancement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to address and resolve production issues. Maintain accurate records of production metrics, labor, and equipment performance. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles of CNC machining a MUST Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to analyze data and metrics and make informed decisions. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Gwynedd Manufacturing is an equal opportunity employer.
