Requirements Educational Requirements New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education Certification may be for specific grade levels (e.g., Birth-Grade 2, Grades 1-6, or Grades 7-12). Must be in good standing with the NYS Department of Education. Typically includes credentials such as: Students with Disabilities (SWD) Grades 1-6 SWD Grades 7-12 Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement) In education, special education, or a related field. Master's Degree In special education or a related discipline. Experience Teaching or Tutoring Experience At least 1-3 years of experience teaching or tutoring students with disabilities. Experience with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 Plans is often required. Specialized Experience (optional) Experience with specific disabilities (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia). Familiarity with adaptive technology or assistive devices. Preferred Qualifications Proven success in improving academic outcomes for students with special needs. Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and curriculum. Experience working with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Job Overview
: Seeking year round (nude) figure models to pose for upcoming figure drawing-focused sessions in Baltimore, MD (Bolton Hill). These will be 4-hour, non- to minimally guided nude figure drawing/painting sessions (18+). The session will consist of short gesture poses, gradually progressing to longer held poses. Sessions will be held in an apartment setting, accommodating up to 10 participants. Additional classes will be introduced over time based on community interests, contributing to our vision of expanding into a larger dedicated space. Models pose for art students to support the study and practice of drawing the human figure. Our current openings are for part-time nude models. Pay ranges from $20–$25/hr. Classes at the start will be held Wednesday afternoons from 5 p.m.–9 p.m. and Saturdaymornings from 10 a.m.–2 p.m starting the first week of december. The Drawing Room at Bolton Hill is the start of an artist run community with the goals of offering affordable art opportunities and nurturing the creative growth of each individual. We intend to provide an enriching space for artists of all kinds to explore, experiment, and expand their practice as the community evolves. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: -Collaborate with instructor to perform poses appropriate to the class subject matter. -Provide a variety of creative and expressive gesture poses. -Work with other models when group poses are required. -Maintain sustained poses for the duration of the class as directed. -Demonstrate understanding of all topics covered in model training sessions. -Adhere to professional standards as outlined by the Instructor -Communicate promptly with the Coordinator regarding scheduling and work requests. -Perform additional related duties as assigned. For Models: -Arrive on time and prepared for the session. -Maintain professionalism throughout the session, including during breaks and setup. -Discuss comfort levels and pose limitations with the instructor before the session begins. -Do not engage in unnecessary conversation while posing unless requested by the instructor. -Maintain confidentiality regarding class participants and the content of sessions. -Refrain from the use of personal electronic devices during class time, except for emergencies. For Participants: -Treat the model with respect and professionalism at all times. -No photography, video recording, or sketchbook sharing of the model is permitted without explicit prior consent from both the model and instructor. -Conversation should remain appropriate and focused on the artistic process. -Refrain from commenting on the model’s body; only artistic critique is allowed. -Maintain a quiet and focused studio environment during poses. -Respect the model’s personal space — do not touch or approach the model stand. General Guidelines: -The instructor reserves the right to dismiss anyone whose behavior is disrespectful or disruptive. -All sessions are conducted with the highest standards of professionalism, sensitivity, and inclusivity. -Questions or concerns about poses or conduct should be directed privately to the instructor or class coordinator.
