Due to continued growth, we are looking to add an energetic and enthusiastic Tax Supervisor to our team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team who continues to focus on the strategic initiatives of our firm and solidify our client relationships and client base. The Tax Supervisor oversees tax compliance, consulting and planning by interpreting tax code and regulations, and performs first review of complex tax preparation, tax research and tax planning. This role also ensures all appropriate tax returns filed are in compliance with relevant IRS and state regulations. The Tax Supervisor advises clients on appropriate tax strategies for their organizations while also providing work direction and technical guidance to less experienced staff. Responsibilities Build relationships with clients to discuss a variety of federal tax concerns Advising and providing tax consultations, and communicating tax concepts Developing a strong knowledge base through continual education by tax research, reviewing trends, and other practices Managing engagements workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement billing Providing technical tax advice and planning services Supervising and reviewing the work of staff Obtain a general understanding of pertinent IRC sections and regulations Obtain a working knowledge of tax research and the various tax research sources Interact with all client personnel in an intelligent and professional manner Possesses skills necessary to develop quality client relationships Requirements 3-5 years of prior experience in taxation Experience leading others Bachelor’s or better in Tax, Accounting or related field CPA certification preferred Must have public accounting experience High performer at an existing firm Super Regional or Top 100 firm experience a plus Understand Tax Law changes or how to navigate resources Solid understanding and experience with federal tax compliance, federal tax accounting and provisions, tax analysis, and tax research Benefits Rea offers a wide variety of benefits to help support our employees' health, wellness and financial goals. Sinch is looking for a Senior Income Tax Manager, who will play a vital role on the tax team! As a telecommunications services company, we have tax complexities not found in a typical corporate environment. In addition to internal planning, these complexities can also affect our customer relationships. We are a lean group, which means you will have primary responsibility for corporate income tax, including research. You will be the subject matter expert for the company on income tax, providing advice on planning and income tax strategy! Responsibilities Work with external vendors to ensure completeness and compliance on state and federal income tax filings, including US international tax reporting. Work with external vendors on the preparation of the annual and quarterly tax provision. Manage income tax audits, providing support for tax positions taken on returns, resolving issues, and negotiating the best settlements for the company. Research new tax legislation and impact to the company. Assist with transfer pricing documentation requests, if required. Assist other tax department members with month-end and year-end accruals. Maintain tax calendars, anticipate planning, and lead on preparation. Mentor other members of the tax department. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or finance. CPA Certification Ten years of tax experience. Previous Big Four accounting experience A mix of public and corporate tax roles is preferred Proven comfort and confidence in interactions with tax auditors. Experience with tax complexities in the telecommunications industry is very helpful. Masters in Taxation is a plus. Responsible for the routine maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, safety equipment in BPTC buildings.  Maintains all BPTC assets located in the field, such as signage, and passenger shelters. This position: Performs and or schedules preventative maintenance for HVAC systems, various shop equipment, electrical components and other building infrastructure as needed. Installs, maintains, repairs and cleans passenger shelters as needed. Collects trash and refuse from buildings and shelters as needed. Installs, removes, and or repairs bus stop signage. Performs custodial and janitorial duties as needed in BPTC facilities. Maintains grounds with appropriate landscape improvements, performs mowing, weed eating, planting, and watering as needed. Cleans windows, walls and other surfaces as needed. Routinely cleans maintenance garage floors and equipment. Assists with the snow removal of parking lots and sidewalks.
