Description

Sinch is looking for a Senior Income Tax Manager, who will play a vital role on the tax team! As a telecommunications services company, we have tax complexities not found in a typical corporate environment. In addition to internal planning, these complexities can also affect our customer relationships. We are a lean group, which means you will have primary responsibility for corporate income tax, including research. You will be the subject matter expert for the company on income tax, providing advice on planning and income tax strategy! Responsibilities Work with external vendors to ensure completeness and compliance on state and federal income tax filings, including US international tax reporting. Work with external vendors on the preparation of the annual and quarterly tax provision. Manage income tax audits, providing support for tax positions taken on returns, resolving issues, and negotiating the best settlements for the company. Research new tax legislation and impact to the company. Assist with transfer pricing documentation requests, if required. Assist other tax department members with month-end and year-end accruals. Maintain tax calendars, anticipate planning, and lead on preparation. Mentor other members of the tax department. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or finance. CPA Certification Ten years of tax experience. Previous Big Four accounting experience A mix of public and corporate tax roles is preferred Proven comfort and confidence in interactions with tax auditors. Experience with tax complexities in the telecommunications industry is very helpful. Masters in Taxation is a plus.
